Ordinary everyday criminal cases are handled by five investigative agents and their commander from one of the districts of Prague. – Such is the framework in which this very successful episodic TV crime series takes place.
Their district ranges from distant suburbs to the very center of the city, so their cases are as diverse as the different people who live there.

It's worth mentioning that the leading character was portrayed by actor and former diplomat, Martin Stropnický, who also served as the Defense Minister for the Czech Republic during the shooting of the fourth season, and who went on to be the Czech ambassador to Israel.
